Industrial maintenance is evolving. Gone are the days when teams relied solely on periodic inspections and reactive repairs. Today, connected sensors, edge computing, and cloud analytics enable continuous condition monitoring and predictive insights.
At OCP Maintenance Solutions, I-SENSE was built to unify these layers — hardware, connectivity, and software — into one seamless platform.
The process begins with data acquisition. I-SENSE supports a wide range of sensors — vibration, temperature, pressure, flow, and more — that can be mounted on rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, and conveyor systems. Our Vibox hardware captures high-frequency signals and pre-processes them locally to reduce noise and bandwidth requirements.
Connectivity isn’t always guaranteed in industrial environments. That’s why I-SENSE gateways perform edge-level filtering and buffering. Key metrics are aggregated and only relevant events are sent to the cloud, ensuring low latency while optimizing bandwidth.
This architecture also allows for local alarms, meaning critical events can trigger maintenance actions even if internet connectivity is temporarily lost.
Once the data reaches the cloud, the real magic happens. I-SENSE uses machine learning models trained on historical datasets to detect anomalies and forecast potential failures. Our dashboards visualize asset health in real time, provide fault diagnostics, and estimate Remaining Useful Life (RUL).
Finally, these insights are pushed to maintenance teams through web dashboards, mobile apps, and API integrations with CMMS/EAM systems. The result: fewer surprises, better planning, and reduced downtime.
Bridging hardware and SaaS isn’t trivial, but with I-SENSE, we’ve made it easy for clients to go from raw sensor data to actionable decisions. Whether you manage a single plant or a global fleet, the architecture scales with you.
